At our December meeting we had the rare luxury of having a long, in depth presentation from a guest speaker: Kathryn Ott Lovell, Commissioner of Parks and Rec. Commissioner Lovell came to speak about the plans for the redesign of FDR Park in South Philadelphia, across from the Sports Complex, and was able to also provide an overview of the process for the use and design of the Parkway, and share her history with Parks and Rec.
