The Development Workshop is a collection of businesses and individuals who are committed to promoting development and the healthy growth of Philadelphia's economy. Together, we advocate for policies that contribute to vibrant communities throughout the region.
The Development Workshop is a Pennsylvania not-for-profit 501(c)(6) trade organization. Our members benefit from:

Monthly Membership Networking Breakfasts
​Members meet each month to discuss planning, zoning and development issues and address challenges facing Philadelphia and the region.

Access to Off-The-Record Conversations about Development

Policy Committee: The Development Workshop's Policy Committee meets regularly to share information, formulate policy positions that best represent the interests of our members, and collaborate on advocacy efforts.​

Networking Opportunities
Our members represent a diverse group of industries. Many of our members are also part of Urban Land Institute (ULI), Building Industry Association of Philadelphia (BIA), Building Owners & Managers Association of Philadelphia (BOMA), and Homeowners Association of Philadelphia (HAPCO). Developers, lenders, architects, investors, lawyers, economists, engineers, city planners and more come together at Workshop meetings.

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP
Our membership fees are inclusive, and the Development Workshop does not charge members for any of our events or activities throughout the year. We do not collect or share information about our members with any outside organizations.
SUSTAINING MEMBERSHIP
In recognition of the founding members who have supported the Workshop at this level, as well as those newer larger, or more established companies who have joined at this level already. This level will not have a limit on the number of company senior staff who can be included in our mailings and programming.

Annual Membership: $6,000 per year
INSTITUTIONAL/CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
Organizations who wish to include several senior staff in the activities of the Workshop. This level of membership enables three individuals to be included in our mailing list and invitations to Workshop programming.

Annual Membership: $3,000 per year
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Our associate members are primarily local professional services firms in industries including architecture, landscaping, planning, engineering, and economists.

Annual Membership: $1,500 per year
